Hi Tech Republicans

Personally, I have used a Maelstrom created website. (Wisconsin Federation of Republican Women) It is very easy to do updates and even easier to teach someone else how to do it.

Great job to everyone at Maelstrom who make life just a little easier for those of us that love hi-tech, but are not completely trained in the subject.

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Four years into developing software for theme parks, shoe companies and other businesses, Brookfield-based Maelstrom Technology Solutions LLC is focusing on a new group of customers: politicians.

Maelstrom has helped corporate customers such as Great America, Rogan's Shoes, Johnson Controls and Oshkosh Truck build custom solutions and serve their online needs by trying to optimize search engine results, track visitors to their Web sites and set up Internet stores.
Political and non-profit customers represent less than 2% of the company's business, said Scott E. Detweiler, who founded Maelstrom in 2002 and owns the majority of the company. But the company thinks those areas have the potential for growth.

"Right now it's one of the fastest-growing parts of our business, growing by 20 percent to 30 percent a month," Detweiler said.

Maelstrom, which has seven full-time employees and three contract employees in places as far-flung as Indonesia, does not disclose revenue.

But the company is clearly courting a new type of customer with two specialized Web sites designed to attract new business: www.idealcampaign.com for politicians and related groups, and www.yourpatriot.com for donation, volunteer and event management.

continued...

One of the best things about Maelstrom is that they have some moral and ethical standards. I bet it was difficult to create a site for someone who's values you do not believe in.

So far, all but one of Maelstrom's political clients have been Republicans - which corresponds well with Detweiler's personal political views. The lone Democrat was Tom Cooke, a candidate for the New York state Senate who has since dropped out of the race.

Will Maelstrom ever take on another Democratic client?

"I will for the non-profit management system, but to do a Web site for one is difficult," Detweiler said.

Your support for Paul Bucher as AG is disgusting. You're another sheepish American who would willingly give up all your rights and fredoms to the big bad government. Hey genius do you realize what slippery slope we are moving down if you allow sobriety check points? Bigger government bigger police WOW how conservative.. You're a neo-con shill and I will expose you chump. This is just the begining!
