That is not only a majority of Republicans(90%), Independents( 75%), but also a majority of Democrats(58%).

Now this should not come as a shock to those in Congress, but my guess is that it will surprise some.

In 2008, this is the issue to define all issues. What is America doing to rid itself of the albatross hanging around our necks as we become more reliant on foreign oil?

So far, Congress has done nothing.

To be fair there are some in Congress that are trying, but they do not control Congress.

The Democrats are in control of Congress and they have some explaining to do. The cost of a gallon of gasoline has gone up $1.75 per gallon since the Democrats took control of the Congress.

Are the Democrats really going to try and sell the idea that they really care about American families even as the costs have risen 78% to heat their homes and put gas in their tanks to get to work?
