Yesterday a story came out about Menards taking their 600 to 800 jobs to another state instead of staying right here in Wisconsin. Two new facilities are opening in Iowa and Ohio, but a new Wisconsin facility has hit DNR roadblocks.
Today we hear from MJS about the wonderful relationship between Doyle and Menards. John Menard has even donated $20,000 to Doyle's campaigns over the years.
That's all fine and dandy, but no one seems to be able to come up with the answers as to why businesses are taking their business and their jobs to another state.
Charlie Sykes is pointing out the disparities between new jobs in Wisconsin and new jobs in the rest of the Midwest.
What is the problem here, people?
What is it about Wisconsin that it cannot attract new business and keep the current businesses from leaving the state?
There has got to be an explanation.
Jim Doyle certainaly does not have the answer.
