Today's MJS Daywatch

There were some items in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's "Daywatch" today.

For example-

This is just funny-

The Common Council voted 9-5 to rename the large green object in Red Arrow Park as the city's "Christmas tree," dumping the "holiday tree" label that has been used since 1995.

Large green object? I say we just permanently change the name to "large green object" so absolutely no one will be offended!

We can just file this next bit of information as "something I already knew and it is about time the MJS finally reported this info"-

A group running negative ads against Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Green landed more than $700,000 over two months from unions and a Democratic group, the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign reported today.
