Debate set for Bucher and Van Hollen

Radio debate-

The two Republican candidates for attorney general will meet on the air next week.

Waukesha County District Attorney Paul Bucher and former U.S. attorney J.B. Van Hollen are scheduled to appear on the Charlie Sykes Show on WTMJ-AM (620) on Thursday, Aug. 10 from the State Fair, according to Rick Belcher, the station's vice president of operations.

Belcher said the Democratic candidates Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager and Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk have also been invited to debate on a different day, but haven't yet accepted.

Sykes works at the same radio station for which Bucher's wife does an evening talk show.
