For the woman with everything

Anybody want a Condi dress? Check it out-

Lending a whole new meaning to the term "power dressing", you can now wear your favourite powerful woman out on the town.

The Italian label Gattinoni unveiled these "beauties" at a parade in the Auditorium in Rome on Sunday, adding the US presidential wannabe Hillary Clinton, the French presidential wannabe Segolene Royal, the British great-grandmother wannabe Queen Elizabeth and the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to a long line of famous females who have been associated with the fashion house.

Its founder, Fernanda Gattinoni, designed Audrey Hepburn's costumes for the 1956 movie War and Peace, which makes the choice of at least two of these women's images somehow very appropriate.

We'd like to see Helen Mirren, who on Sunday won a Screen Actors Guild award for her performance in The Queen, wearing the QEII frock to the Oscars. Depending on political persuasion, of course, the owner of such a dress can always wear it back-to-front. Or inside out.
