Our audacious President

You gotta love our audacious President now, right?

Exactly one year to the date of being sworn in as the President of the United States, our President is desperately attempting to save his presidency.

Of course, the President tries to convince people that he and Scott Brown share something in common and then proceeds to blame the voter anger not at himself, but at President Bush.

"Here's my assessment of not just the vote in Massachusetts, but the mood around the country: the same thing that swept Scott Brown into office swept me into office," the president said in an exclusive interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos. "People are angry and they are frustrated. Not just because of what's happened in the last year or two years, but what's happened over the last eight years."

Let me get this straight, the reason that Scott Brown won is because voters were angry about the last eight years?

I have to admit it is pretty funny that today the President is attempting to attach himself to Scott Brown's coattails. However, this was still a staggeringly audacious statement for President to make.

14 months ago, the people of Massachusetts showed very clearly they were angry at President Bush. In only took one year of a President Obama for the anger to build so much that the people in Massachusetts were willing to put a seat held by a worshiped Kennedy into the hands of a hated Republican who drives a truck. They did not do that because of the last eight years. They did it because of the last year that has been solely controlled by the liberals in Washington.

There is more, but I have to get to a city council meeting.
