Imagine if Sarah Palin had said this:

Imagine for a moment if these words had come out of Governor Sarah Palin's mouth about President Obama:

a 'light-skinned' African American 'with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,

Can you imagine the explosion?

If Sarah Palin had said this, it would be all over for her. She would be done in politics. Finished! It would have been on the front pages of every single newspaper in the land. Every single Democrat in this country would have been out in front of a camera demanding the Governor Palin apologize. Thousands of articles would be written slamming Governor Palin.

Instead these words did not come Governor Palin's mouth. It came out of the mouth of a staunch liberal, Harry Reid.

Suddenly a massive kum-ba-ya moment has arisen. Liberals are surrounding their fallen comrade in a show of hopey changey unity. President Obama has graciously and benevolently forgiven the sinner, Harry Reid.

Hey liberals, you know this is crap. You know that if this were Sarah Palin, you would have crucified her. Because it was one of your own, you surround them with love and forgiveness.

Some of the liberals are even sniveling about being called hypocrites. You guys drove Trent Lott out by playing politics. Now you snivel because it is happening to you.
