Just call us the Dodo nation

The Tea Party Nation have been called a number of things over the last year. We have been called an angry mob, nazis, teabaggers, racists, and hate mongers. There have been more names, but it would take too long to list them all.

Well, there is a new one out there. Ever the intellectual, Joe Klein, from Time Magazine has called us dodos.

It is very difficult to thrive in an increasingly competitive world if you're a nation of dodos.

Joe Klein even calls us "too dumb to thrive". The reason Joe Klein believes you are so stupid is because of this poll that came out by CNN. 74% of Americans believe that at least half of the stimulus money has been wasted.

You see, according to Joe Klein, you are a dodo because you just do not realize how good you have got it and what President Obama has done for you:

Absolutely amazing poll results from CNN today about the $787 stimulus package: nearly three out of four Americans think the money has been wasted. On second thought, they may be right: it's been wasted on them. Indeed, the largest single item in the package--$288 billion--is tax relief for 95% of the American public. This money is that magical $60 to $80 per month you've been finding in your paycheck since last spring. Not a life changing amount, but helpful in paying the bills.

Magically millions of Americans have lost the magical paychecks because they have been laid off. Of course, millions more of Americans may not have lost the magical paycheck, but their hours have been cut at work and the magic money does not come close to touching what they have lost since the recession has started.

But hey, you are a dodo because you really do not appreciate what President Obama has done for you. How can Americans be so ungrateful for their $7 a paycheck?
