Harry Reid told Blago who to appoint as Obama's replacement

From the Chicago Sun Times.

Harry Reid had his "culture of corruption" hands right in the middle of Blago's appointment to Obama's senate seat. (I gonna laugh like crazy when I get to hear Reid's voice talking to Blago about the senate seat on Fitz's tapes)

Harry Reid has got some deep murky waters to negotiate now.

For some odd reason Reid told Blago not to appoint Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., Congressman Danny Davis and State Senator Emil Jones.

Reid did tell Blago that Tammy Duckworth and Lisa Madigan were acceptable in his eyes.

Days before Gov. Blagojevich was charged with trying to sell President-elect Barack Obama's U.S. Senate seat to the highest bidder, top Senate Democrat Harry Reid made it clear who he didn’t want in the post: Jesse Jackson, Jr., Danny Davis or Emil Jones.

Rather, Reid called Blagojevich to argue he appoint either state Veterans Affairs chief Tammy Duckworth or Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, sources told the Chicago Sun-Times.

Hmmmmm...

Harry Reid is going to have a fun time explaining this one to Bobby Rush:

Jackson, Davis and Jones are all African Americans and Duckworth and Madigan are not.

After this little tidbit, what are the chances that Roland Burris, a lobbyist making millions off of Illinois taxpayers and African American appointed by Blago to replace Obama, will now be seated in the Senate despite Reid's and Obama's objections?

I would say there is a pretty good chance of Roland Burris being the next Senator from Illinois.

You know what is scary?

These are the people leading our country for the next two years.

H/T Hot Air
