What happens if they decide not to re-open the plant after keeping it closed for a month?
All of Chrysler’s manufacturing plants, including the Kenosha Engine Plant,
will shut down operations for a few weeks after Friday.
Chrysler announced Wednesday afternoon that it would halt production at
all 30 of its plants at the end of the day Friday until Jan. 19 due to the lack
of consumer credit for prospective American car buyers.
Some Kenosha workers could return earlier, according to Glenn Stark,
president for United Auto Workers Local 72.
