I'm done with John McCain

I normally don't stay up late enough to watch Late Night with David Letterman, but I happened to catch a little of it Thursday night, when Sen. John McCain was on. David Letterman make a rude joke about Gov. Sarah Palin, and John McCain laughed at it. That is when I realized I am done with John McCain.

The next morning I took my McCain/Palin bumper sticker off my car. I was keeping it on as a protest to Obama's socialism. I don't want to be associated with McCain anymore. I'm getting this bumper sticker to replace my McCain Palin one. (I'm saying the S.O.S. stands for Stop Obama's Socialism.)If I were Rod Blago, I'd use some nice four-letter words to describe how I feel about Sen. McCain, but I'm not, so I won't.

Sen. McCain was not my first pick for the GOP candidate for President. Or my second. Or my third. I remember at the February Pints and Politics, the day after McCain won the party nomination, everyone, including myself, was pissed. How could a RINO, who's been sticking it to conservative Republicans for eight years, get the nomination?

Months passed, and I slowly grew to accept Sen. McCain as the nominee. Obviously, he was better than the opposition. I wasn't happy he was the nominee, and I also wasn't excited to help him get elected.

Then, come August, he picked Gov. Sarah Palin as his running-mate. I was pumped! The Republican party had a proven conservative reformer on the ticket. The turnaround in the excitement in campaign was impossible to describe. Sarah Palin was the reason John McCain got 48% of the vote. If she hadn't been on the ticket, he probably would have gotten 35%.

After the election, when the attack dogs came out from the McCain campaign after Gov. Palin, Sen. McCain said nothing.

To see Sen. McCain laughing with David Letterman at Gov. Palin's expense is inexcusable.

I'm glad Sen. McCain didn't win the election. This way, I don't have to defend him anymore. If he were president, and he screwed up, or did something that was moderate, Republicans would have gotten the blame.

I'm washing my hands of Sen. McCain.

I'm tired of defending RINOs.

I'm not doing it anymore, and I know many in the Republican party are tired of it, too. (And this goes for ALL levels of elected officials.)

Is it over?

The media would have you believe that the presidential race is over.

Last week, polls began to show a double-digit lead for Barack Obama.

Am I worried?

Absolutely not!

I am here on the grassroots level ever-single day, talking to hundreds of people a week.

We got game, folks, now is the time to get it moving!

I have to tell you, with all of these poll numbers looking so negative; I have never seen this type of enthusiasm in Kenosha County.

Never!

I was involved in the 2004. What used to be considered the gold standard for grassroots volunteers will be surpassed this year in Kenosha County.

Yes, folks are frustrated with Senator McCain, praying that he would stop reaching across the aisle. The other side of the aisle has already proven with this ACORN mess, that they are willing to steal this election. Why in heaven’s name would the Senator continue to try and reach across the aisle. We do not want to be associated with these types of folks on the other side of the aisle.

Still, this battle will be won on the ground.

As I said before, we got game. (Yes, the media is also trying to discourage the ground game by pumping up Barack Obama’s ground game numbers. Don’t believe it.)

This past weekend, our offices were once again jammed full of people. Dozens of doorknockers swept though Kenosha. Armed with yard signs and a positive message, they had a great time talking to folks. They delivered hundreds of yard signs and hundreds of flyers.

I was especially thrilled to meet a bunch of folks from Illinois. Many were up for the weekend to see what they could do to help. We are thrilled to have them.

Especially thrilling was a gentleman I met from Illinois. He was one of the folks wearing a “Democrats for McCain” t-shirt. As I got to talk to him, he told me how hard he had worked for Hillary Clinton. As it turns out, the nice fellow just so happened to be the head of Hillary Clinton’s campaign in Illinois.

Now he is working his tail off, pounding doors in Kenosha County to help John McCain and Sarah Palin.

We could not be more thrilled to have him and his many friends and former Hillary supporters.

One of the pieces of advice he gave while he was here was for people to ignore the poll numbers. In many instance, the Barack loving media made every attempt to depress votes by over stating poll numbers in favor of Barack Obama.

This happened in many instances in Hillary Clinton’s race against Barack Obama.

Remember Ohio?
Clinton was down in the polls by 7 points on the day preceding the Ohio primary. She won by 10 points in Ohio.

If any of her campaign volunteers or her voters has bought into these polls, there is a chance they would have been so discouraged they would have stayed home.

To be totally honest, I have a lot of policy problems with Hillary Clinton. In normal circumstances, myself and may of the Hillary supporters would be on the opposite side of most issues.

However, there is something during this election that Hillary supporters have in common with McCain/Palin supporters:

We have all been railroaded and lied to by the Barack loving supporters and Barack loving media.

These folks have proven that they are willing to lie, cheat and steal an election and the media are not only trying to desperately hide the problem, they also making excuses for the lying, cheating and stealing.

How is it possible that anyone, whether Republican, Democrat or independent would approve of this ACORN debacle and then proceed to cover it up is a horrifyingly dishonest!

One of our basic constitutional rights as honest American citizens is the right to vote. That right is being stolen from us in a massively dishonest movement in support of a Barack Obama presidency.

Stolen!

The former Hillary supporters know exactly what we are all feeling today. Many of them faced the same ACORN stolen votes problem we are all challenged with today.

We may not have a ton in common with Hillary supporters, but we do share one common goal- Barack Obama should not be the next President of the United States.

So, it is time to get fired up.

If you are interested in fighting the socialism that Barack Obama has promised to deliver to America, join us.

The Kenosha GOP Victory Center is located at 5901 75th Street. Across the street from the Pick n Save on Hwy 50. In the strip mall, right next to the Speedway gas station.

We are open from 9am to 9pm every single day. Even if you only have an hour a week- we can use your help.

So, no this election is not over. Not by a long shot.

McCain Palin stuff

Yes- our offices are currently stocked with McCain Palin stuff.

We have yard signs, bumper stickers, campaign buttons and t-shirts.

Stop on by and let us know what your need.

Kenosha GOP Victory Center
5901 75th Street (located in the strip mall next to the Speedway on Hwy 50- across from Pick n Save)

Call 262-697-6144

See you there.

I guess he cannot multitask after all.

Everyone is slamming McCain for heading back to Washington instead of going to the debate. Obama went so far as to demand that McCain multitask. What is wrong with McCain? Can't he mulitask?

That is…until the President called…

When the President calls, suddenly Obama is jumping on his plane and going back to Washington to actually work on the problem facing the country.

When McCain calls, Obama is not interested in doing his job in Washington. President calls, now that gets Obama’s attention. Makes you wonder which one of them is really the Bushbot, huh?

I thought you could multitask Obama? Why didn’t you just blow the President off and just tell him that if he really needs you to give you a call?

Leadership? Judgment?

How has Obama shown any kind of leadership and any kind of judgment on this issue at all?

Since Obama still wants to debate on Friday

Since Obama still wants to debate on Friday, perhaps he and Joe Biden can go ahead and debate each other. Those two definitely have some issues to work out.

First, Biden dared Obama to take his guns from him.

Then, Biden spoke out against the ridiculous computer email ad.

Of course, we have the whole AIG thing where the Obama camp insisted that McCain was against the AIG bailout before he was for it. Problem was, Biden had the same stance as McCain.

And then the whole coal debate between the two of them. The official Obama stance is for clean coal until Joe Biden spoke out against any coal plants in the US.

Yep- Obama and Biden should definetly debate these issues, especially since they are running on the same ticket.

In the meantime, the grownups can get some work done in Washington to do their jobs and take care of the people that elected them to begin with.

(See- I told you my campaign against Obama and Biden would continue)

Good idea, Senator

I believe that suspending his campaign and trucking back to Washington to force a resolution on the financial crisis is a good idea.

John McCain is right and he is attempting to reach a solution by next Monday morning. We cannot let this thing fester beyond Monday.

I think that this is even a smarter move than voting against the garbage the Democrats are trying to force down everyone’s throat. (I am no happier with Bush’s garbage either)

I cannot believe that it is John McCain that is forcing both sides of the aisle to sit down and work this out. Of course, this is not the first time McCain has forced both sides to sit down.

Good for him.

We absolutely cannot tack a bunch of garbage onto the rescue bill. Americans cannot afford it.

We cannot buy up all of those cars that folks are defaulting on, nor all of the student loans.

However, doing nothing will collapse.

We are a credit society. Banks cannot lend money they do not have. People cannot get to work, purchase food and other items when the banks have no money.

Shelter(as in homes) is a basic necessity of life.

Millions without jobs., without homes, without food… All because of greedy people on Wall street and in Washington.

I do not think every person quite understands this yet.

Gridlock in Washington, which is what we have right now, does not fix the problem.

John McCain and Barack Obama can go back to beating the crud out of each other on Monday.

In the mean time, I do not suspend my campaign against Senator Obama and Senator Biden.

PS: Edited to add... I just assumed Obama would go along with the plan to suspend the debate and the campaigns for a couple of days until everything is decided on. McCain did invite Obama to join him.

However, there is a hiccup. Obama's campaign is not sure they want to suspend the debate. I guess we will wait and see.

Democrats on the Hill: Frozen in their tracks

So what are they waiting for?

We have heard the same ol’ same ol’ same ol’ out of the Democrats (and Barack Obama) since last week. They were going to pass a piece of legislation that will help “Main Street” not “Wall Street”. Or they continue to promise they will not “Give a blank check to Wall Street”.

Still, here we sit, almost a week later and the Democrats are still playing footsies with the legislation.

So what is the hold up???

They are waiting on John McCain, apparently.

The Democrats are promising that if McCain does not vote FOR their notion of what a government bailout should be, then none of the Democrats will either.

That is right, folks. The Dems are demanding that John McCain vote for their version of the bailout plan.

ABC News' George Stephanopoulos reports: If Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain doesn't vote for the Bush administration's $700 billion economic bailout
plan, some Republican and Democratic congressional leaders tell ABC News the
plan won't pass.

Now, why would the Democrats do that? (The Republicans don't need to vote for this- it can pass without them. Remember, they are the minority)

Well, the answer is simple enough. The Democrats need John McCain to provide them with political cover.

Here is why-

If John McCain comes out against this- his conservative base will see him as not pandering to a new form of socialist government. Government taking over for business is not the answer for many in the super conservative base.

If McCain comes out against this, a piece of legislation that Washington is desperate to pass right now- John McCain will be seen as challenging the Washington establishment that got them into this mess.

If McCain comes out against this, a piece of legislation that Wall Street is desperate to have passed, John McCain will be seen as challenging the corrupt Wall Street abusers.

Clearly, the Bush administration is desperate to get this rammed though right away and they have made no secret about doing so. The White House wants it and they want it now. Seperating himself from George Bush is a great thing for John McCain to do.

This is all well and good. McCain gets to endear himself to his conservative base that are clearly in a panic that socialism will run amok if the bailout legislation is passed. McCain is then seen as a true maverick willing to take on the corruption in Washington, Wall Street and the White House.

John McCain has made it pretty clear what he is looking for out of this piece of legislation. He wants student loans and house loans protected. He wants more oversight and more accountability. He also wants to protect the taxpayers from massive CEO payments to a failed company the taxpayers will have to pay for.

The problem the Democrats have right now is that they have to climb into bed with George Bush and the White House in order to get a rescue bill. Democrats are demanding John McCain climb into bed with them and the President also.

The President has done his part and the Democratic leadership in Congress seems to be frozen with fear. The Democrats are in charge and must show signs of working with the White House in order to get this problem fixed NOW.

All the Democrats can think about is whether or not this makes their Presidential candidate look good or bad. The economy is an afterthought.

Clearly, Barack Obama is hiding in plain site on this one. Never saying one way or the other what he would like to do. Clearly he is frozen in place also. Just waiting for someone to tell him what to vote for or against. I guess Harry Reid will get back to him when he feels like it.

As Main Street flounders, the folks in Washington are humming and hawing on what to do. The Dems do not want to give up talking points to McCain but the truth is, this is their job to handle.

The Democrats are in charge. Clearly they have no idea how to handle this crisis.

How do we know this?

Cause Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told us so.

I think it is a riot that the Dems are demanding this of John McCain.

Where is the crowd?

Maybe I should have personally gone to the Obama event yesterday and welcomed him to Wisconsin.

McCain/Palin 10,000

4 days later for Barack Obama at the same venue. 6,000

Now, in the big picture, all of this means very little. McCain had this very problem a few months ago.

It is nice to see that the enthusiasm gap for the candidates has disappeared.

Now that is a start, John McCain

After his fumble earlier in the week(yes it was a big fumble) on the economy, McCain has gotten his maverick mojo back.

He is suggesting that the SEC chairman be fired and I agree. This was a problem that the SEC saw coming and did nothing to stop the current crisis.

"The chairman of the SEC serves at the appointment of the president and, in my view, has betrayed the public's trust," McCain told the crowd at a rally in this battleground state. "If I were president today, I would fire him."

McCain is also suggesting some possible solutions to avoid this in the future:

In his speech in Cedar Rapids, McCain proposed creating a trust to work with the private sector and regulators to identify mortgage and financial institutions that are weak and to take measures to strengthen them.

"Today we need a plan that doesn't wait until the system fails," the senator said. "For troubled institutions, this will provide an orderly process through which to identify bad loans and eventually sell them."

Depending on the details of this type of plan, this could work. Forcing the institutions to regulate themselves and when they show signs of failure, they will be forced under some government regulations and guidelines and forced to pay the money back that is needed to bail them out.

Obama's plan besides insulting John McCain???

Obama, stopping at a restaurant in Bernalillo, N.M., outside of Albuquerque, deflected a reporter's question about whether Cox should be fired, saying he would be talking about the economy later in the day. Obama campaign adviser Linda Douglass said, "What we ought to do is fire the economic policies of George Bush."

How is Obama going to change anything if he has offers no solutions to a major crisis like this one?

I am guessing that Obama is stumped like the rest of the Democratic leadership. Just ask Senate Majority leader Harry Reid:

One reason, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said yesterday, is that ``no one knows what to do'' at the moment.

Yep- those Democrats are quite the leaders, huh?

Of course it was Hagel

Every single time I see one of these headlines stating that "GOP Senator says..." and the article is blasting a GOP person, normally you can run to Chuck Hagel and he is the culprit for whatever insult.

"GOP Senator: A 'stretch to say Palin is qualified"

So Hagel has done it again.

The biggest problem is that Hagel has been like this for years and is supportive of Barack Obama, not John McCain. Hagel even traveled to Iraq with the Presidential Candidate with no foreign policy experience. Of course, he does not dare comment on the PRESIDENTIAL candidates as it relates to experience, instead he slashes the woman on the ticket.

Typical Hagel.

I wonder if Hagel realizes yet that he is being used and abused by the Democrats yet?

Of course it is just fine to disagree even with people in your own party, but the media sticks a mic in face and Hagel spouts the liberal talking points.

Stop laughing conservatives…the feminists on the left are really ticked about this:

Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a prominent Hillary Clinton supporter and member of
the Democratic National Committee’s Platform Committee, will endorse John McCain
for president on Wednesday, her spokesman tells CNN.

The announcement will take place at a news conference on Capitol Hill, just blocks away from the DNC headquarters. Forester will “campaign and help him through the election,” the spokesman said of her plans to help the Republican presidential
nominee.

Forester was a major donor for Clinton earning her the title as a
Hillraiser for helping to raise at least $100,000 for the New York Democratic
senator’s failed presidential bid.

This is not the first time we have heard this.

I know the liberal elitists and feminists continue to tell everyone that there is no way that any of the Hillary supporters will ever support the McCain/Palin ticket. Clearly this is proof that the elitists and the Obama supporters are wrong.

I watch it happen in our campaign offices every single day. This is particularly true since the addition to Sarah Palin to the Republican ticket. Although a majority of those folks switching sides are woman, it is not 100 % women. There have been some men also. Senator McCain’s service to his country is a real draw for many men in the US.

I have worked on many campaigns and I have to admit, this one has been the most fun. The volunteers are great and so much fun to be around.

The energy in the office is so positive and upbeat, it is contagious.

Obama: Reporter is a liar, but...

The Obama camp is busy calling a reporter and John McCain a liar for this article that ran is yesterday's New York Post.

The reporter stated:

WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq,
Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his
demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in
July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after
the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington,"
Zebari said in an interview.

The Obama camp is stating that this is really what happened:

In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a
"Strategic Framework Agreement" governing the future of US forces until after
President George W. Bush leaves office, she said.

Hello?

Isn't this the same thing?

Barack Obama overstepped his bounds while traveling his world concert tour. He decided that the Iraqis should wait for him to be in office and not worry about coming together with the US on a drawing down troops in Iraq.

How bogus is this?

He tells America he wants the troops out ASAP, but then attempts to delay the agreement process to withdraw troops from Iraq.

Hat Tip: Hot Air

Troopergate- It is time for the truth to come out

Finally, the McCain-Palin camp is fighting back and the truth is coming out.

Unbeknownst to most of America, this joke of an investigation into “trooper gate” is finally being revealed.

Only Amanda Carpenter from Townhall has been making any waves into how this entire investigation has been conducted.

Let us start with the fact the person accusing Governor Palin of abuse of power is buddies with the people heading the investigation.

Tainted????

I should say.

Next, those conducting the investigation are very vocal Barack Obama supporters. In fact, when the Republicans in the legislature attempting to get the Obama supporters removed from this investigation, the person heading the investigation (another Obama supporter) turned them down.

On top of this, the Obama supporters have already promised an “October surprise” proving they have already determined the outcome.

Also, remember that “subpoena” for Todd Palin? Turns out that the “investigators” manipulated the list of subpoenaed names. The Democrats and Barack Obama have been tampering with the investigation.

They are so desperate to destroy Governor Sarah Palin that they are willing do whatever it takes, including manipulate the process, to make that happen.

Barack Obama and the Democrats have their hands all over this investigation and now they are attempting to make hay over the fact that the Governor is now refusing to cooperate.

They are so desperate to destroy Governor Sarah Palin that they are willing do whatever it takes, including manipulate the process, to make that happen.

This entire investigation was a joke from the beginning. Even the Safety Commissioner Mike Monegan stated that he was never told to fire the state trooper, but he said he was contacted a lot by the governor’s team. So what!

Over and over again this particular state trooper was in trouble. From drinking in a squad car to tazering his stepson, the governor’s nephew, this state trooper wreaked havoc in the lives of the people around him. When he began to threaten the lives of the governor’s family that should have been the breaking point for the Safety Commissioner.

The state trooper was even investigated and all of the allegations were substantiated. The trooper was suspended for his actions.

Now it turns out that the real last straw, according to emails, the Safety Commissioner, against the will of the governor, decided to take a state paid trip to Washington DC to beg for earmarked money from Senator Ted Stevens. Not a wise move. Anyone believing that it is wise to pack your bags and head to Washington in order to work around your boss’ directive is begging to be fired.

Think about it. If you decided that you wanted a raise and you boss had already turned you down and you decided to pack your bags and head to Washington to work around your boss, what would your boss do? You would be fired.

It is unbelievable that the media is so in the tank for Barack Obama that they are willing to allow all of the details to this investigation to go unpublished, even as they keep claiming “troopergate” could be a problem for the governor. Over and over they mention “troopergate” but never give any details. So are you curious as to why that is?

Clearly the media and the Obama campaign do not want you to know the details. If you knew the details then perhaps you would come to a different conclusion than the one they want you to have.

I think it was a very wise move for Governor Palin to refuse to cooperate. Perhaps the truth will finally come out about this incident.

Even better she released the email communications that exonerates her.

Among the e-mails released was one of farewell written by the public safety
commissioner himself, Walt Monegan, when he was fired in July. In it, he
suggested the governor had reason to believe she had lost his support, and urged
his former colleagues to communicate better with her.
"For anyone to lead
effectively they must have the support of their team, and I had waited too long
outside her door for her to believe that I supported her," he wrote. "Please,
choose a different path."

Maybe now the media can face the real truth and stop playing games.

Maybe now the Obama campaign will stop lying to the American people about what really happened and stop trying to manipulate the investigation to create the outcome they want.

Questioning John McCain's patriotism

Barack Obama once again talking "issues".

I suppose he thinks that these kinds of statements will endear him to the American people:

Politico:
A pretty scathing charge from Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., this morning as he
spoke to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and
assailed Sen. John McCain's, R-Ariz., position on free trade.

"Just ask the machinists in Pennsylvania who build Harley-Davidsons,"
Obama said of McCain's record. "Because John McCain didn’t just oppose the
requirement that the government buy American-made motorcycles, he called Buy
American provisions 'disgraceful.' Just ask the workers across this country who
have seen their jobs outsourced. The very companies that shipped their
jobs overseas have been rewarded with billions of dollars in tax breaks that
John McCain supports and plans to continue.

"So, when American workers hear John McCain talking about putting
'Country First,'" Obama said, "it’s fair to ask –- which country?"

Um ... isn't that pretty much the dictionary definition of questioning
someone's patriotism?

Wow.

Seriously, does Barack Obama believe that questioning McCain's patriotism and loyalty to his own county is going to win him favors???

Barack says: "Vote for me, John McCain cannot email!"

John McCain is mocked as an out-of-touch, out-of-date computer illiterate in a
television commercial out Friday from Barack Obama as the Democrat begins his
sharpest barrage yet on McCain's long Washington career.

AP

This is a joke, right? Is this really the line of attack Barack Obama wants to run against McCain?

“Vote for me, McCain cannot email”

Wow.

Of course, the media are pumping this out as fast as they can. They are so excited that Barack Obama has come up with a new line of attack. (That does not mean that it is a good or smart line of attack, it is just new.)

Problem is, this is about the goofiest line of attack I have ever seen.

Barack Obama to America:

“Vote for me, McCain wore funny clothes in the 1980’s”

“I mean, how can McCain properly do his job if he does not know how to send a scathing email to Osama Bin Laden hiding in a cave?”

Oh this is funny stuff.

I thought Obama wanted to talk about the issues. After the whole degrading of Sarah Palin during lipstickgate, Obama was highly offended that folks did not want to talk the “issues”.

So is this the issue Obama wants to talk about?

The Obama reality is that he has nothing. There is absolutely no reason to vote for Barack Obama other than the fact that he is a Democrat.

He cannot be counted on the make a tough decision (“present” vote items).

He has no executive experience.

He has no military experience.

He has no foreign policy experience.

He has no national security experience.

He has no economic experience.

He has never negotiated anything.

He has never put together a budget that affects anything outside his own home.

He does have legislative experience; however- that is not the job of a president. Presidents don’t legislate.

Vetting problems?

What vetting problems?

According to the media, there were vetting problems with John McCain’s vice presidency pick.

In reality, the only folks is having problems with the vetting process is the media.

McCain’s team did vet Palin, however the media never vetted Palin.

So, McCain picked someone the media was not familiar with. So what?

What becomes painfully clear is that the media desperately wanted Joe Lieberman and is giving the impression that McCain desperately wanted Lieberman, and was forced to change his mind at the last minute. Therefore, the Palin pick was rushed.

Even if it was true, so what?

I was listening to the idiots on MSNBC last night talk about the vetting process and one guy exclaimed that the FBI had not even done a background check.

So what?

The viciousness of the attacks by the media has gone completely beyond respectability.

They cannot get the dirt on the governor, so they proceed to destroy a 17-year-old girl’s life just to get to her mother.

This poor girl and the governor have had to endure being called a whore, a slut and anything else you can imagine on the lefty websites.

Also, the big trooper gate… Turns out, the brother in law was quite a slug and would have been fired by any other state leader in any other state. The slug brother in law, tazed his own son (her nephew), and threatened her family. Now any other state trooper in any other state would have been terminated immediately for threatening to kill the governor. The guy should have been fired and anyone protecting this type of slug should also be fired right along with him.

Her husband got a DUI before they were even married.

Once again, so what?

One thing is clear, the media’s obsession will help Sarah Palin, not hurt her. Sarah Palin is a regular person, just like the rest of us.

Christians are Christians because they are not perfect. Who needs God when you have all of the answers. We are all forgiven, including liberals.

The Palin panic

Now the game is on.

The Democrat and media elites are in an absolute panic.

There hysterical(not in the funny way) reaction has reached a fevered pitch.

It should be called the Palin panic.

I know that many in the media and on the Democrat side of the ailse are beating, bashing and groping for any sign of dirt they can fling at Governor Palin.

The first dirtpile they picked up was her lack of experience. Problem is, she has more executive experience than the top of their ticket. She has actually vetoed legislation as governor of Alaska.

Even her experience in the PTA gives her more experience that the top of the Dem ticket.

Have you ever been to a PTA meeting?

There is no political experience that is more vicious, more conniving, and more cut throat than a PTA meeting.

Picture this, you find yourself standing between a mother bear and her baby cubs, YIKES! Now picture an entire room of these types of mother bears as they protect their baby cubs! That is a PTA meeting!

Joe Biden ain't got nothing compared to the PTA mom, Sarah Palin! She will wipe the floor with him.

Something is happening here to the standard ole' Republican party. For years many of the hard core Republicans have been looking for someone to shake things up.

To the political geeks, we have known about Governor Sarah Palin for a while, but the media has ignored the changes she is forcing in Alaskan politics.

In spite of the negative quotes coming from the media, the political talking heads and the Democrats, the base of the Republican party and independent voters are fired up.

This is a fire that I can honestly say I have never seen before.

Our local office was buzzed up yesterday and today. People who I have not seen since 2004 were coming in yesterday and today. The yard signs and bumper stickers were flying out the door. We do not even have the McCain/Palin stuff in yet, folks were grabbing what they could get.

Our volunteer base has double just in the last two days. We had folks walking in off the streets just to get some info and signing up to volunteer.

No wonder the media and the Democrats are on the attack.

It is called the Palin Panic!!!

I support the Maverick/Barracuda ticket

Now this is something to get excited about:

Friday, August 29, 2008

Oh please, Oh please.

I have been pushing friends and family toward Sarah Palin for VP.

It did not seem like she had a chance.

Rumors are flowing- it might be her.

For those who do not know about her, she is a great conservative. She has been fighting the corruption in government for a while in Alaska.

Needless to say, Senator Ted "bridge to nowhere" Stevens does not like her and she does not like him.

She embodies the direction the Republicans need to move.

Go Sarah!

Go McCain!
