Barack's broken promise
CNN was one of the few tv stations not running the Obama's grand infomercial tonight.
Campbell Brown took this opportunity to bash on Obama and remind folks that this is the same person that promised to adhere to the public financing rules a year ago.
The "very expensive" infomercial is from money that Obama lied to Americans about and promised not to raise.
The only thing that could have been better about this piece is if Ms. Brown had asked the question "So if Obama broke his commitment to the American people on public financing of his campaign, how long will it take him to break his commitment to a 95% tax cut for all Americans?"
That would have been nice to hear from Ms. Brown.

Barack Obama is a socialist and he plans on taking the US down the socialistic path.
Most folks would immediately dismiss this as just some sort of name calling stunt. In fact, I was just outside at our company’s roach coach service, the owner had his radio on, and there was a horrified woman doing an interview who exclaimed, “They are calling Barack Obama a socialist!”
Well, ma’am, Barack Obama is a socialist.
Let us ignore for a small moment Barack Obama’s own socialist words and just focus on the policies that he and his Democrat buddies are currently espousing:
Government run health care for everyone!
I know the Obama camp is desperately attempting to tell people the plan is not really government run. If the government is involved and paying for it, then it is government run. It does not matter how many different ways you attempt to spin this, the government will write the legislation, the government will make the decision of what is covered and what is not, the government will decide who pays for it and who gets it for free, the government will even decide what procedures are allowed and which are not.
Ladies and Gentlemen: this is government run health care!
Can you imagine for a moment a program that takes the power over your life and your personal health care out of your hands and places it into the hands of the government?
Your very life depends on the government and what they deem to be necessary and proper for your own health care needs.
There is no better way to take away your freedom than to take away your power over your own life.
Ladies and Gentlemen: Barack Obama’s health care plan is a perfect example of socialism. Your very life depends on him.
Another example of socialism:
The so-called “Fairness Doctrine” that the Democrats want so desperately to get passed is another form of socialism. The Barack Obama government with the support of the Democrat controlled House and Senate want to be able to dictate what can be said on the radio and what cannot be said.
Freedom of speech just took a big hit. The government will decide if what is being said on the radio is fair or not fair.
As we already know, Barack Obama’s campaign was furious with a couple of different TV because the difficult questions were given to them and they have since cut those TV stations off of access to the candidate’s campaign.
Let me ask you, how much would you have hooted and howled about this taking place in a country like Cuba? The great leader doesn’t like the questions he gets, so he cuts them off. The Fairness Doctrine being pushed by the Democrats will give them the power to shut down the type of speech they do not like.
Yet another example of socialism:
Taxes
Barack Obama has promised tax increases to only the very rich. One of the ways socialism works is by pitting person on person. So and so has more than I do and I want it. Pitting neighbor on neighbor. But don’t worry, Obama will take from them and give it to you. What happens then when someone complains about you? Will he take from you and give it to someone else? After all, he has to take your wealth now and redistribute it to someone else. It is only fair!
This is socialism, continually taking from one person and giving to another and the government would decide who gets what and when they will get it.
Now you take these few simple examples of socialism and put them together with Barack Obama’s words:
Fox news-
"It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success too," Obama responded. "My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody ... I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."
An audio from 2001 (via hot air)where Barack Obama calls it a tragedy that the civil rights movement and the Supreme Court did not address “redistribution of wealth”.
Fox News has also discovered quite a few insights from the books that Barack Obama has written:
But Obama himself acknowledges that he was drawn to socialists and even Marxists
as a college student. He continued to associate with Marxists later in life,
even choosing to launch his political career in the living room of a
self-described Marxist, William Ayers, in 1995, when Obama was 34. Obama's
affinity for Marxists began when he attended Occidental College in Los
Angeles.
"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends
carefully," the Democratic presidential candidate wrote in his memoir, "Dreams
From My Father." "The more politically active black students. The foreign
students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."
After seeing the policies that Obama has not only pushing right now, the writings from his own books and hearing the words that he himself has spoken…
Ask yourself, is Barack Obama a socialist?
Well, of course he is. Obama is attempting to hide this, but the house of cards is beginning to collapse. Perhaps all of the radical friends of his were a bigger influence than the mainstream media is telling us about.
More and more and even more...
Barack broke his pledge to America, just to buy an election.

Barack Obama says "US Constitution is Flawed"
In the mean time, this little gem has popped up. Barack Obama in his own words "US Constitution reflected fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day".
Seriously, do we really want this guy as our President????
Well, the socialist/marxist is just so gosh darn handsome and speaks so calmly about his socialist views- how can you not vote for him?

Hair plugs and botox
My first thought when I heard this is "Wow, she looks pretty good." That was until I saw the hysterics out of the left and couple of folks on the right.
Now I am wondering why these same folks do not seem to care about Senator Hair Plugs and Botox.
I mean seriously folks, you want to compare????
Do you really want to compare how Governor Palin looks with her pretty and expensive dresses to Senator Biden and his hair plugs and botox???
I agree with Barack Obama
They are "rhetorical flourishes", just the the entire Barack Obama campaign.
Nothing more than rhetorical flourishes. Obama spouts some flowery languages and the media oohs and ahhs.
But really, what does Obama really say?
Don't believe me?
Name one single thing Barack Obama has ever accomplished politically.
Just name one thing.
Now before you liberals start ranting about Sarah Palin, she has $40 billion pipeline deal that had been log jammed for over 20 years.
Just name one single thing.
See...
You got nothing either.
The entire Barack Obama campaign, along with is bumbling running mate have nothing but rhetorical flourishes.

Could someone please explain the polls?
Just yesterday, a new poll came out showing Obama up by 14. Also yesterday, another poll showed Obama up by 1(today the poll shows it at 2).
That 13 point difference represents millions of voters.
Today- one poll shows Obama up by 10 another shows them as Obama by 1.
Seriously, what is up with this junk? I have never seen such huge disparity in the polling data.
It has never been as bad as it is right now.
This entire year has been bad.
Remember Hillary was down by 7 in Ohio the day before the election and won by 10. Hillary was up by 3 in West Virginia the day before the election and won by 25! Hillary was down by 9 in New Hampshire and won by 7 in New Hampshire.
The poll numbers are way off. I don't have any clue as to why.
I am done with polls. Don't tell me it is over for McCain, because I am not buying it. Sarah and I will drag McCain across the finishing line if we must. I know there is no give up in that woman either.
Nobody knows what will happen.
CNN laughs at their own bias
When Drew Griffin at CNN was challenged by Sarah Palin, "You guys would have clobbered me", if she had made the statement that Joe Biden had made, Griffin could not even muster a denial.
Instead Griffen laughs and agrees with Palin that she would have been clobbered for stating that if Barack Obama is elected President, America would be faced with an international crisis.
How totally pathetic. Never in American history has the media or the Democrats ever nominated a person that is so untested, unethical and unqualified as Barack Obama.

Palin names possible Barack International crisis
Palin would have been slaughtered
But because it was Joe Biden promising that the "Great One" Barack Obama would have to face an international crisis, then it is no big deal:

Barack Obama = International Crisis
According to Joe Biden, Senator Obama's running mate, if you vote for Barack Obama and he wins, America will be tested by some type of international crisis in the first 6 months.
"Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."
"I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate," Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. "And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you - not financially to help him - we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right."
And Governor Palin is the idiot????
I bet this makes everyone want to vote for the inexperienced guy, huh?
We know John McCain's mettle. It has been tested over and over again.

Elitist Snob Barack Obama mocks Joe the Plumber
How dare Joe the plumber question the Messiah and make the Messiah look like a socialist/Marxist wrapped is a fancy tie and an empty suit?
As his elitist media thugs record his wise words, Barack Obama questions, “How many plumbers do you know making a quarter of a million dollars a year?” The fawning Obama crowd roars with laughter.
In the meantime, the media elitists are destroying everything they can about Joe the Plumber. Joe doesn’t have the proper license. Joe owes back taxes. Joe is a Republican plant.
This much we do know about Joe. Joe is one of us and like the rest of us, Barack Obama and his idiot running mate will make sure the Joe and me will never reach the American dream.
You see, socialist/Marxist do not believe in the American dream. They don’t believe in setting a goal, working hard to accomplish that goal and then enjoying the fruits of your labor or sharing it with your family and friends.
Instead, what socialists/Marxists like Barack Obama believe is that the moment you finally achieve the American dream, it is their duty to steal that dream from the common American and spreading your hard earned dollar to a bunch of people that did not earn it.
Don’t let the American dream die! Fight Socialism! Fight Marxism! Fight elitism!
Don’t let Barack Obama or anyone else steal YOUR DREAMS, JOE!!!!
John McCain: Messiah is above my paygrade
I was dying laughing.
That bit about "Maverick I can do, but Messiah is above my paygrade" was an absolute riot.

Joe, the plumber
That is because the media did not bother to tell you about him over the last several days. The only way to learn of Joe the plumber and his confrontation with Barack Obama was though the internet.
Barack Obama is a socialist. He admitted his socialist ideas with Joe the plumber. Barack Obama then admitted it again last night.
Barack Obama will take Joe, the plumber's money and your money and give it to someone else.
He said so. He plans on taking your money and giving it to someone else- spread the wealth around.

Real Debate Wisconsin: Racine schools hand out textbook with 15 page Obama love-fest...
I am not even sure what to say to this.
Brand new school books promoting Barack Obama.
I wonder how the FEC will look at this?
Is it a campaign contribution paid for by our tax dollars?
Good job, Fred.
It has now hit Michelle Malkin's page.
Palin: Pro God and Pro Life
Now she has gone and done it. Sarah Palin actually gave a speech on her pro-life and pro-God beliefs.
That probably set the liberals heads spinning.
Worse yet, she blasted Barack Obama's extremist views on the subject.
Now, whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, it is hard not to view Barack Obama's beliefs as some of the most extreme in the pro choice movement.
On three separate occasions, Obama refused to stand against infanticide. That is extreme. Even the most liberal of all US Senators voted to protect the rights of children born during botched abortions.
Now, some would argue that it is not really infanticide if you stuff a child from a botched abortion if you simple ignore a child born during a botched abortion until it dies.
I beg to differ. Infanticide is the practice of killing newborn babies. that is precisely what was happening that Barack Obama refused to try and stop.

Zamba's Ugly Smear Campaign
His crying even got him on the news and in the Kenosha News. Pretty good free press for Mr. Zamba, maybe this is an inside job for free political advertising and a way to increase campaign contributions.
The statements by Zamba supporters are pretty nasty, and they're not just about Republicans. They are about the residents of the 66th Assembly District who support Samantha Kerkman (and not all of them are Republicans).
Here are a few quotes from area liberal blogs:
Kerkman’s supporters have now demonstrated beyond doubt what scumbag traitors to America and her democracy that they are! This shows them for what they are!, small minded, fearful, violent and criminal!
I have a idea when win we will give all the Zamba signs to Kerkman so she can burn them as here self in Hell.
Take a look at Kerkman's facebook page - it'll give you an idea of the type of voter she attracts (the term "redneck" comes to mind).
To quote Mr. Zamba:
One fellow likened their tactics to the brown shirts of Hitlers day.
Mr. Zamba is not the person we want representing us (renecks) in Madison. Thank you Samantha Kerkman for representing the values most (obviously not all from the above quotes) of your constituents have.
Brilliant plan, Senator Obama???
Barack Obama is suggesting a 3 month moratorium on home foreclosures.
Brilliant plan, Senator. It is much better to toss folks out of their homes in January, the middle of dead cold winter, instead of tossing people out of their homes right now. Those folks living in battleground states like Wisconsin, Minnesota or Michigan are going to love living in the outdoor winter weather.
Good grief.
Perhaps we could figure out a way of renegotiating their loans instead of tossing them out in the middle of January. I know that is John McCain's plan, but that certainly sounds better to me.
Of course, you can just swipe the money out your retirement account early without any penalty, sending the Dow plunging even further.
Or perhaps he can give a tax credit to all of the small businesses that hire folks, but then immediately take the money back with his tax increases of these same small business owners making $250,000 a year.
Oh yeah, simply brilliant, Senator. Simply brilliant.
Is it over?
Last week, polls began to show a double-digit lead for Barack Obama.
Am I worried?
Absolutely not!
I am here on the grassroots level ever-single day, talking to hundreds of people a week.
We got game, folks, now is the time to get it moving!
I have to tell you, with all of these poll numbers looking so negative; I have never seen this type of enthusiasm in Kenosha County.
Never!
I was involved in the 2004. What used to be considered the gold standard for grassroots volunteers will be surpassed this year in Kenosha County.
Yes, folks are frustrated with Senator McCain, praying that he would stop reaching across the aisle. The other side of the aisle has already proven with this ACORN mess, that they are willing to steal this election. Why in heaven’s name would the Senator continue to try and reach across the aisle. We do not want to be associated with these types of folks on the other side of the aisle.
Still, this battle will be won on the ground.
As I said before, we got game. (Yes, the media is also trying to discourage the ground game by pumping up Barack Obama’s ground game numbers. Don’t believe it.)
This past weekend, our offices were once again jammed full of people. Dozens of doorknockers swept though Kenosha. Armed with yard signs and a positive message, they had a great time talking to folks. They delivered hundreds of yard signs and hundreds of flyers.
I was especially thrilled to meet a bunch of folks from Illinois. Many were up for the weekend to see what they could do to help. We are thrilled to have them.
Especially thrilling was a gentleman I met from Illinois. He was one of the folks wearing a “Democrats for McCain” t-shirt. As I got to talk to him, he told me how hard he had worked for Hillary Clinton. As it turns out, the nice fellow just so happened to be the head of Hillary Clinton’s campaign in Illinois.
Now he is working his tail off, pounding doors in Kenosha County to help John McCain and Sarah Palin.
We could not be more thrilled to have him and his many friends and former Hillary supporters.
One of the pieces of advice he gave while he was here was for people to ignore the poll numbers. In many instance, the Barack loving media made every attempt to depress votes by over stating poll numbers in favor of Barack Obama.
This happened in many instances in Hillary Clinton’s race against Barack Obama.
Remember Ohio?
Clinton was down in the polls by 7 points on the day preceding the Ohio primary. She won by 10 points in Ohio.
If any of her campaign volunteers or her voters has bought into these polls, there is a chance they would have been so discouraged they would have stayed home.
To be totally honest, I have a lot of policy problems with Hillary Clinton. In normal circumstances, myself and may of the Hillary supporters would be on the opposite side of most issues.
However, there is something during this election that Hillary supporters have in common with McCain/Palin supporters:
We have all been railroaded and lied to by the Barack loving supporters and Barack loving media.
These folks have proven that they are willing to lie, cheat and steal an election and the media are not only trying to desperately hide the problem, they also making excuses for the lying, cheating and stealing.
How is it possible that anyone, whether Republican, Democrat or independent would approve of this ACORN debacle and then proceed to cover it up is a horrifyingly dishonest!
One of our basic constitutional rights as honest American citizens is the right to vote. That right is being stolen from us in a massively dishonest movement in support of a Barack Obama presidency.
Stolen!
The former Hillary supporters know exactly what we are all feeling today. Many of them faced the same ACORN stolen votes problem we are all challenged with today.
We may not have a ton in common with Hillary supporters, but we do share one common goal- Barack Obama should not be the next President of the United States.
So, it is time to get fired up.
If you are interested in fighting the socialism that Barack Obama has promised to deliver to America, join us.
The Kenosha GOP Victory Center is located at 5901 75th Street. Across the street from the Pick n Save on Hwy 50. In the strip mall, right next to the Speedway gas station.
We are open from 9am to 9pm every single day. Even if you only have an hour a week- we can use your help.
So, no this election is not over. Not by a long shot.

McCain/Palin town hall
As you can see, I am not nearly as angry as this fellow.
I am still trying to figure out how getting mad solves any of the issues that this fellow is talking about.
Yes- we are becoming a socialist society. Yes, Barack Obama is the most liberal senator to ever be nominated for President.
Governor Palin is doing her part, we need McCain to start doing his part.
My question is- are you doing your part?
They have the Manchurian candidate running for office. Propped up for years by shady characters keeping his campaigns flush with money. In return, Senator Obama has lined their pockets with taxpayer funds. Everything from directing earmarks to his radical church, to the radical Ayers group, to Tony Rezko, to his wife's friends, to ACORN ... every direction you turn, Obama has been pushing taxpayer dollars at them.
So- are you doing your part to expose these shady dealings?
We all know the media is not doing their job.

Dullest debate ever?
I mean ever.
I know the political punditry will say over and over again that Obama won because McCain did not provide a knockout punch.
Oh please!
Have you ever seen one of the George Bush debates?
He lost every debate he was ever in and still managed win the election for President twice. (Yes, twice)
John Kerry wiped the floor with Bush and it meant nothing.
I did see something I did not plan on seeing, despite the media total ignorance on the issue.
Even though McCain had a couple of gaffes, like the Warren Buffet thing and the bailout of American homeowners- there were no real stingers. Yes, the Main Street wants to hear that they will get some help, not just the Wall Streeters. I know the Michelle Malkin types are probably screaming, but that is just politics. Despite popular belief, the bailout plan was not $700 billion immediately, it was for $350 billion. In order to get the other $350 billion, it would take another act of Congress. I was a little curious what Congress and now John McCain plan on doing with the other $350 billion that is not really approved yet. Apparently John McCain has joined the Mike Huckabee populist plan- tell them what they want to hear.
The Buffet thing was just strange.
Still- no major gaffes from McCain.
However, despite the media's insistance, Barack Obama did have some major gaffes.
Politics 101- you never ever never ever never ever tell any single person that the major concerns in their lives are not your most important concerns.
The moment Barack Obama started prioritizing energy, health care and entitlements, is one of the most major gaffes I have ever seen. Yet the media has not picked up on it yet.
Imagine telling the senior citizen that their concerns over social security are not your top priority. Or perhaps you are telling sick little Timmy's family that health care is not at the top of your priority list.
Even though the candidates were asked to list their priorities, McCain did not fall into that trap and told of the importance of all of them.
Why would a single senior citizen vote for Obama now that they know that they are not at the top of Obama's list????
What has Obama told us, it will take 10 years for energy independence????
Oh goody, the senior citizens and the sick and poor will just have to wait until Barack is done fixing the energy crisis first. (Also, Obama did mention "education" as his number three priority. Not only were they not asked about education, but now the teachers have got to be spinning their heads this morning. Imagine being number three behind the oil companies and the insurance/health care industry) Uh! Oh!!! Yikes!!!!
Obama also made some other major gaffes, such as his answer on defending Israel:
Question:
If, despite your best diplomatic efforts, Iran attacks Israel, would you be willing to commit U.S. troops in support and defense of Israel? Or would you wait on approval from the U.N. Security Council?
Still waiting for a yes or no from Obama on this one.
Obama:
And so it's unacceptable. And I will do everything that's required to prevent it.
And we will never take military options off the table. And it is important that we don't provide veto power to the United Nations or anyone else in acting in our interests.
It is important, though, for us to use all the tools at our disposal to prevent the scenario where we've got to make those kinds of choices.
Obama talks of preventing a attack on Israel, and saying that he won't take any options off the table, but that still did not answer the question.
Yes or no????? I bet their are a few Jewish folks out there that would like an answer.
There is plenty of fodder in Obama's answers to give every American pause. The question is, did Americans stay awake long enough to hear all of Barack's vague answers???

It is called leadership (Congressman Paul Ryan)
1. Sometimes you vote for things, you do not want to vote for
2. Sometimes you vote for things that your constituents do not want you to vote for
Lastly, you do the right thing, because it is the right thing to do.
The idea of letting the entire economy collapse, because of another opinion piece by Michelle Malkin or any other conservative, is pathetically irresponsible.
Worse yet, to invoke the name of President Ronald Reagan and bluster about principles, as if President Reagan would have allowed the economy to collapse either.(Yes, Ronald Reagan gave amnesty to illegal immigrants also) He was just a man, folks. A good man, but still a man.
This past week, I have watched a couple of conservatives, claiming they espoused Ronald Reagan principles, who sought out the quickest and fastest way to collapse their own country's economy.
In the meantime, these Michelle Malkin types spent the week beating up on Congressman Paul Ryan, who stood in the camp of the enemy attempting to negotiate something that both sides could live with.
Now, I like Michelle Malkin and read her daily, but seriously, she is a financial expert now????
The idea that Congressman Paul Ryan(and John McCain too) was willing to take the political hit to try and fight for American jobs and the American economy, knowing what truly faces Americans under the alternate plan of doing nothing, was courageous. Most politicians do not have that kind of political courage.
More may still need to be done protect American jobs, we will have to see.
In the meantime, no reform of the badly broken system has been proposed by either the Republicans or Democrats.
None.
We cannot go back to the way it was. Free money for everyone.
For a truly responsible respectable society to grow out of this financial mess we must be willing to reform the credit system.
The question is- who has the courage to reform the system? Who is willing to stand up to Freddie and Fannie?
That is the type of candidate I am looking for in a President and from my congressman.
I am certain Congressman Paul Ryan will be at the forefront of reforming this credit mess.
I would like to see John McCain and Sarah Palin take a reform stance on this issue also.
For more on real leadership, read this article.

A parody- Sarah Biden
That being said- I got a kick out this article from Victor Davis Hanson.
The person being virtually ignored in this election is Joe Biden. He can say whatever he wants and no one is paying attention.
Before getting offended, pay very close attention...
Journalists continue to ask, “What was John McCain thinking in selecting the gaffe-prone Gov. Sarah Palin?”
In what has now become a disturbing pattern, the Alaska governor seems either unable or unwilling to avoid embarrassing statements that are often as untrue as they are outrageous. Recently, for example, in an exclusive interview with news anchor Katie Couric, Palin gushed, “When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the, you know, princes of greed. He said, ‘Look, here’s what happened.’ ” Apparently the former Alaskan beauty queen failed to realize that in 1929 there was neither widespread television nor was Franklin Roosevelt even President.
Sometimes the Idaho-native Palin seems to confuse and embarrass her own running mate. Shortly after her nomination, she introduced a “John McAmerica;” then she referred to the Republican ticket as the “Palin-McCain administration;” and finished by calling Sen. Obama, “Senator George Obama.” The Palin gaffes seem to be endless: on her way to Washington to meet the national press corps, Palin, the mother of five, once again stumbled — this time characterizing Senator Biden as “Congressman Joe Biden,” who, she chuckled, was “good looking.”
But then Palin only compounded that growing image of shallowness when introducing her own snow-mobiling husband Todd, “as drop-dead gorgeous!” And when asked about the controversial McCain ad suggesting that Barack Obama had introduced explicit sex education classes to pre-teenagers, the Christian fundamentalist Palin scoffed that it was “terrible” and that she would have never had allowed such an unfair clip to run — before retracting that apology under pressure from the now exasperated McCain campaign staff. But then, according to press reports, wild Sarah only made things worse still by announcing that paying higher taxes was the “patriotic” thing for Americans to do.
This week, the gun-owning, moose-hunting Palin also promised blue-collar Virginians that she would protect their firearm rights — even, if need be, from her own running-mate: “I guarantee you, John McCain ain’t taking my shotguns, so don’t buy that malarkey. Don’t buy that malarkey. They’re going to start peddling that to you. I got two. If he tries to fool with my Beretta, he’s got a problem. I like that little over and under, you know? I’m not bad with it. So give me a break. Give me a break.”
Palin may have had some experience in Alaskan politics, but at times the former small-town mayor seems unaware of the pressures of running a national campaign in a diverse society. For example, Palin — who has had past associations with reactionary groups — caused a storm earlier when she characterized Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama in seemingly racialist terms: “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.” Such stereotyping suggested that the Alaskan was not aware of the multiracial nature of American politics — an impression confirmed when in her earlier gubernatorial run, she had once suggested that to enter a donut shop was synonymous with meeting an Indian immigrant.

Now I have heard all
I figured it does not do any good to complain, because the liberals will get their way in spite of the clear conflict of interest.
Can you imagine if Sean Hannity was moderating tomorrow night's debate? Just imagine how ballistic the liberals would go- and I do not blame them.
I had stayed out of it until I read this garbage on Yahoo News.
The idea that this woman could in any way stay impartial is ridiculous.
"I've got a pretty long track record covering politics and news, so I'm not particularly worried that one-day blog chatter is going to destroy my reputation," Ifill said. "The proof is in the pudding. They can watch the debate tomorrow night and make their own decisions about whether or not I've done my job."
All you have to do is read the title of the book to know where Ms. Ifil's loyalty stands "The Breakthrough- Politics and Race in the Age of Obama"
The "Age of Obama"- give me a break.
Sarah Palin's job tomorrow night is to pound on Barack Obama. As the vice presidential candidate, that is what is expected of her to do. Can you imagine Ms. Ifil's consternation?
Ms. Ifil should never have applied for this job. The Debate Committee should have never approved this.
The liberal left media would never have tolerated Sean Hannity and this should not be tolerated either.
The only people who can get this stopped right now is the media making a tremendous fuss and we know they are also in the Obama camp- so that is not going to happen. Right on queue the liberal media are already defending themselves.
You should have listened to House Republicans last week
Amazingly, it is the House Republican plan that was originally being pushed last Thursday/Friday that seems to have made the difference.
Instead of trying to figure out a way to make a reasonable bailout plan work, way too many conservatives and liberals spent way too much time trying to kill a plan.
Luckily, last week, the House Republicans realized the absolute crisis facing this country and put together a plan that would not only save the credit market, so you can continue to use your credit cards, but it appears that the new new plan will look very much like the plan the Senate will be passing tonight.
Last week, our own Congressman Paul Ryan with Rep. Cantor proposed a plan that would allow banks to buy into a insurance plan for shaky, but not yet defaulted loans. It was adopted and included in the last bailout plan that failed on Monday.
The latest:
The bailout plan from Monday will now include the increases in the FDIC caps, requested last week by House Republicans that was dismissed by the Pelosi and company. Yesterday, both McCain and Obama called for these increases. (BTW, to those folks who think Obama or McCain came up with this brilliant plan themselves just need to check last weeks records and see that the House Republicans were way out in front of this)
Also included in the new new plan are tax breaks, suggested last week by House Republicans. These tax breaks will get shaky investors and middle class Americans off the sidelines and get them back into the market again.
Even yesterday morning, after the failure of the first bailout plan, Congressman Paul Ryan on Jay Weber’s show was again calling for the bailout plan to include higher FDIC limits, a “mark to market” suspension and tax incentives to get investors off the sidelines.
Whether the Democrats want to believe it or not, it was not until John McCain showed up in Washington that the House Republicans could even get anyone to listen to their plan. The House Republicans had been shut out until John McCain showed up.
Of course, last week, Nancy Pelosi and the screeching Democrats began screaming that McCain and the House Republicans blew up the plan.
Now it looks like the Senate will adopt the majority of the House Republicans plan tonight.
Senate leaders scheduled a Wednesday vote on a $700 billion financial bailout
package after accepting tax breaks and a higher limit for insured bank deposits
in a bid to win House approval and send legislation to President Bush by the end
of the week.
Thank you, John McCain for getting the House Republicans the attention they deserve. Yes, you took a beating for it. Country first.
I could not be happier for my congressman, Paul Ryan, who did the grown up thing. Instead of worrying about his political career, he worried about his country first. Someone had to put their partisan politics aside and work with the Democrats to not only get a plan that works, but protects the taxpayer. Congressman Ryan did all of this despite the fact that he is running in his own partisan race for office, even while he was getting beat up by conservatives and liberals alike.
PS. To the partisan Democrats in the first district who scheduled a debate between Paul Ryan and his opponent, in the midst of this storm, knowing that the congressman would not be able to go to the debate- that was pretty tacky. Grow up!
