Turns out Hsu was the Democrat's connection to REALLY BIG MONEY!

Wow is a understatement. This is huge. Perhaps the media will stop trying to put this on the back shelf. Even this has got to raise the eyebrows of many in the media.

I am convinced, Hillary knows something that we do not know. There is absolutely know way that she gives up this kind of money, if her camp did not know something.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign said Monday it will return $850,000 in donations raised by Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu, who is under federal investigation for allegedly violating election laws.
Clinton, D-N.Y., previously had planned only to give to charity $23,000 she received from Hsu for her presidential and senatorial campaigns and to her political action committee, HillPac.

To date, Suitably Flip had identified about $174,000 worth of Hsu related campaign donations. Hillary is voluntarily giving up $850,000. Flip is all over this again.

The big question still remains- Where did this money come from?

I am really beginning to wonder if someone has made the China connection. Perhaps China is attempting to buy American politicians just like they did during the Clinton administration.

I have no evidence. However, the Wall Street Journal, is hot on the Hsu trail. It appears they are wondering the same thing I am-

A 1998 Senate Government Affairs Committee report on the scandal found "strong circumstantial evidence" that a great deal of foreign money had illegally entered the country in an attempt to influence the 1996 election. Johnny Chung, a bagman for the Asian billionaire Riady family, confessed that at least $35,000 of his donations to the Clinton campaign and the DNC had come from a Chinese aerospace executive--a lieutenant colonel in the Chinese military who he said helped Mr. Chung meet three times with General Ji Shengde, the head of Chinese military intelligence. Mr. Chung testified that Gen. Shengde had told him, "We like your president very much. We would like to see him re-elected. I will give you $300,000 U.S.. You can give it to the president and the Democratic Party."

This article was out before knowledge of the huge Clinton haul of $850,000.

Of course, before this big announcement, Clinton's friends were calling all those who questioned this mess, bigots.

Clinton defenders suggest that those who make comparisons between the sloppy vetting of Mrs. Clinton's 2008 campaign and her husband's 1996 scandal are bigots because of the presence of Asian names in both cases.

I wonder what Clinton's friends have to say now?

Jim Doyle's tainted campaign funds

Even if you can swallow that garbage explanation from the governor, that his Troha donations should not be rejected, because Troha was not convicted of illegally donating to Doyle, this one is even harder to swallow.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Even though Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu (SHOE) remains a fugitive from justice, Democratic Governor Jim Doyle is not parting with the $2,000 in donations he got from the New York businessman.

Doyle says he is monitoring the situation with Hsu to see if there was anything wrong with the contribution received in 2005. Doyle says he doesn't know "one way or the other" whether the allegations against Hsu are true.

Clearly- the allegations are true. Hsu plead no contest to the charges against him 15 years ago.

Now if Hsu had paid his debt to society- I would have no problem with Doyle keeping the direct contribution from Hsu. However, Hsu has not paid restitution for the $1 million he bilked from investors, nor has he served any jail time, in fact, Hsu has still not been sentenced because he has been running for years.

Most p0liticians attempt to distance themselves from illegal behavior. Not Governor Doyle. Whether it is hundreds of thousands of dollars in Kenosha casino donations, the Hsu donation or even the power plant people- Doyle keeps these donations, no matter how tainted.

By the way, has anyone heard how the Wisconsin Democrat Party plans on ridding themselves of their tainted Hsu money? After all, Hsu directly donated $10,000 to them.

It is not as bad as Abramoff....

That is the excuse that some of the liberals are using to continue to back all of the fugitive Norman Hsu campaign contributions to Democrats all over the country.

Liberal logic: Hsu's actions were not as bad as Abramoff, so it is fine.

What we learn from Right from the Right, is that not only is this mess getting worse and worse for the Democrats, but now the real cracks in the Democrats defenses are starting to show. Literally hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign donations have gone to all of the high profile Democrats.

Now the questions are arising about Hsu's friends and what they have contributed.(for example, the Paw family)

Even here in Wisconsin, Democrat governor Jim Doyle received his share of donations. The Wisconsin Democratic Party received a whopping $10,000.

This can of worms is just now beginning to open.

How has Hsu benefited from hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of campaign donations to Democrats?

What did Hsu expect in return for his loyalty to the Democrat Party?

The difference between Hsu and Abramoff, is that Hsu donated to the Democrats only. Abramoff crossed the ailse on numerous occasions. Just ask Senator Harry Reid.
