Busted! v2

Sorry, but I just had to turn someone else in the flag@whitehouse.gov

I felt that it was my duty to turn myself in to the White House, since I disagreed with ObamaCare. Unfortunately, after hearing some falsehoods yesterday, I felt it was my duty to turn in someone else.

I sent this email to flag@whitehouse.gov

Good morning White House,

You encouraged all Americans to turn in those folks that were pushing falsehoods about ObamaCare. I felt it was my duty as an American citizen to turn in one fellow in particular. His statements on health care reform are misleading and sometimes this gentleman is pushing downright falsehoods.

The gentleman's name:

President Barack Obama
1600 Pennsylvania Ave
Washington DC

On August 11,2009 , at a townhall meeting in New Hampshire, this gentleman clearly stood up and announced to those in the room "I have not said that I was a single payer supporter...). There is the video evidence of the gentleman making this statement. Here is the link to the video evidence.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bd-F8Z6sSpA

Unfortunately for this gentleman, there is additional video evidence that he has indeed stated in the past "I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal program...". There is also video evidence for this statement. Here is a link to the video evidence:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpAyan1fXCE

I would like to have this gentleman thoroughly investigated for the false and misleading statements he is making during discussion of ObamaCare.

Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter. At the very least, Americans deserve an fair and honest debate on this issue. Clearly with these kinds of statements from this gentleman, America is not receiving the honest and open government that they deserve.

Have a nice day,

Kathy Carpenter

I am certain many of you will join me in turning this particular gentleman in for false and misleading statements.

Is the media finally catching on?

I love it.

Some in the media are actually admitting that Obama was attempting to slam through health care reform to cut off the debate with the American people.

USA Today:

The reason the White House had pushed for congressional action before the August recess began was precisely to avoid this scenario: critics filling the summer lull with protests and ads that could raise concerns and rally opposition to Obama's top legislative priority.

Of course, the media was playing along with Obama that health care was a crisis that needed fixing before the August recess.

What was plain as the nose on all of our faces was the mere fact that Obama did not want what is happening now to happen. The President did not want any dissent on his health care plan.

After promising the most ethical and transparent government ever, Obama is not different than the rest. He is trying to take over America's health care system with the opposing view not getting a chance to speak.

The crime of "health care reform" is being foisted on the American people and the President and his cohorts do not want debate.

So far, the debate has now driven the President to tell the American people, most importantly...senior citizens, to basically sit down and shut up if you do not agree with him. The Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, has taken to calling those that disagree Nazi supporters and UnAmerican.

I know the President did everything in his power to stifle debate. He failed at this mission.

Obama Voter Feels Like She's Been Punked

From the Washington Post:

By Sandhya Somashekhar

The coffee was still brewing when Chris Ann Cleland got her first reminder of the day that voting for Barack Obama might have been a mistake.

The Prince William County real estate agent was sitting at a long wooden table covered with paperwork. Her clients, a young couple who had brought their 2-week-old baby, were finalizing a short sale on a townhouse that they were anxious to unload, even if it meant ruining their credit, because they had maxed out their credit cards trying to make the payments.

For Cleland, it was another example -- one of many this day -- of the broken promises of a president who she thought would be different. Obama pledged to change a Washington culture that favored corporations and the connected and instead lift families such as the one sitting next to Cleland out of their economic funk. Rather, she said, Obama has backed billions of dollars to banks that continue to "act like they're broke" and started the country down a path that Cleland said she thinks will lead to more grief for the middle class.

"He's just not as advertised," she said. "Nothing's changed for the common guy. I feel like I've been punked."

Obama: Everything fine as soon as Congress gets away from their constiuents

Sure, everything will be hunky dory as soon as lawmakers head back to the insulation world of Washington DC- or so saith President Obama.

"We are having a vigorous debate in the United States, and I think that's a healthy thing," he said, repeating that thought three times. But, he said, the dynamic will change once the recess ends and the lawmakers — and the debate — return to Washington.

"I suspect that once we get into the fall and people look at the actual legislation that's being proposed, that more sensible and reasoned arguments will emerge. And we're going to get this passed," he said.

Amazing, isn't it?

There has been a disconnect between Washington and America for years. This President promised hope and change. Remember that?

Now, our new President is pining for the insulation of Washington to protect his horrifying take over of our very lives via health care reform. Without the insulation of Washington, there is no chance for this bill to be passed. The President knows this.

Americans are demanding exactly the opposite of the practices currently being pushed by President Obama.

Don't worry America. President Obama and his insulated cohorts in Congress will make the decisions for you.

Glenn Beck Compares Angry Liberal Protesters to ‘Healthcare Mobs’

Compare and contrast from Glenn Beck:

I AM THE MOB! Millions Opposing Barack

H/T: PoliJam

Let's Talk Astroturf

RedState has a great post on the Astroturf of the left. That's right it's not coming from the right, but from the left. Lefties must be so proud they have to pay people to support their march to socialism.

So I received an email/comment this morning about a craigslist ad soliciting health care activism for money. “Activism for money,” I thought!! Was this it at last? The missing link Democrats have been searching for? Obamacare opponents turning up at town halls really are a mob?

We really are nothing but a slew of paid hacks drummed up by the promise of easy cash by cynical Obamacare opponents to create an artificial appearance of opposition?!?

Ummmm, no.

Click here to read the blog -- it has screen shots of many different postings to pay people to support ObamaCare. Astroturf? Yep. Coming from the left. It's how they do business.

Busted!

Yep- I got busted. Actually not really busted, but I did turn myself in to the White House on Friday. I turned myself in to flag@whitehouse.gov. I thought it best to save the liberals the trouble from having to tattle on me.

Vicki made me do it.(Actually she inspired me to do it)

Obama wants people to tattle on citizens who don't agree with his government run Obamacare plan.

So, why not report YOURSELF to flag@whitehouse.gov, and let 'em know how you've sinned! Download this jpg of the Gadsden Flag and attach it to your mail to make sure our Dear Leader understands you are a Patriot! Cut/paste the link below into your mail to let our Dear Leader understand you're not buying the baloney...and BLOW THE LID OFF THAT INBOX

Here is a copy of the email I sent to the White House:

Dear Mr. President and all of the other liberals in Washington,

I would like to go ahead and turn myself in. I am one of the mobsters that is defying President Obama's health care plan. I was encouraged by another mobster standing against President Obama's socialist health care plan to go ahead and turn myself in, so I am.(a radio talk show host made me do it)

I have to be honest, even though I have committed the treasonous act of disagreeing with the President of the United States, I do not feel the least bit guilty about it. In fact, I believe the real treasonous act is being administered by the President and his liberal friends that are standing in defiance of our US Constitution.

For your benefit, Mr. President and liberals, I have provided a link to a copy of US
Constitution/Bill of Rights/Amendment 1

http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.billofrights.html#amendmenti

Bill of Rights
Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

According to our forefathers, I have the right to peaceable assembly and to address my grievances against my government(this includes the President, Congressman, and Senators).

Apparently, the current leaders in Washington and the Democrat Party have lost their copy of the US Constitution, so I thought I would provide a copy.

In another moment of honesty, I would like to go ahead and admit that I will be
continuing the treasonous act of defying the President and the liberals in Washington. I know that sounds pretty fishy since we have already been warned by the President that he does not want to hear from the American people on a problem that we created.

I also really appreciate the warning from the President that his supporters will
"get in my face" for disagreeing with the president.

However, as an American citizen, I believe that it is my duty to uphold my Constitution and to redress my grievances to my elected leaders. (Hey, didn't the President and the rest of the liberals swear an oath and promise to do the same?)

Unfortunately for the President, I and a majority of Americans will continue to defy our government. As long as the President continues to deny my freedom of speech, my gun rights, my property rights and my civil rights, the practice of defiance will continue.

Have a nice day Mr. President and liberals. See you on the protest and campaign trails.

Kathy Carpenter

To all the other mobsters, feel free to turn yourselves in. It is exhilarating!

I am the mob-v2

Yep- the mob is out of control.

Ex Democrat????

Uh oh.

Pistol packin' mamma mobster looked really scary!

My name is Kathy and I am a mobster. Are you a mobster too?

H/T Hot Air

Seriously, who is the party of disinformation?

See for yourself, the President and Co. shoving their single payer government program down the throats of regular Americans.

More propoganda from the left on Health Care reform

I received a email from a personal friend, a democrat, on health care reform. I consider this man to be a friend whom I like, respect and admire.

He sent me this report that states:

Madison, WI, August 5 — Health care reform might cost $1 trillion, but it can ultimately save the nation $3 trillion, with billions of dollars of benefits for every state in the union, including $54.5 billion in Wisconsin, a new report released today by the Wisconsin Public Interest Research Group notes.

Produced by a liberal outfit that calls themselves non-partisan. Typical liberal stuff. I followed the links to read the report and it was pretty much the same drivel as before. The report makes a bunch of statements, but is not supported by any facts at all.

It is easy for anyone just to make a bunch of statements without any numbers to back it up.

As much as I like my democrat friend, these types of "reports" are difficult to back up and should be thought of as merely propaganda. Interesting to read, but full of nonsense just the same.

The CBO has clearly told us, even with the tax increases and the so called Obama "savings", the actual legislation will increase our federal deficit. Period. End of story.

Obama has promised us that this will not happen. However, whenever anyone attempts to challenge the current legislation, we are being told to sit down and shut up.

Trying to differentiate between Obama's rhetoric and the reality of the legislation brings on an onslaught of insults, degradation and hissy fits. It has gotten so bad that some of our legislators are hiding during this August recess.

If you are so confident in your legislation, Democrats, why are you now hiding from town hall meetings?

Glenn Beck vs. AARP

DEADLY DOCTORS

From the New York Post:

O ADVISERS WANT TO RATION CARE

By BETSY MCCAUGHEY

The health bills coming out of Congress would put the decisions about your care in the hands of presidential appointees. They'd decide what plans cover, how much leeway your doctor will have and what seniors get under Medicare.

Yet at least two of President Obama's top health advisers should never be trusted with that power.

Start with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. He has already been appointed to two key positions: health-policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget and a member of Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research.

Emanuel bluntly admits that the cuts will not be pain-free. "Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change," he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).

Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, "as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others" (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008).

Yes, that's what patients want their doctors to do. But Emanuel wants doctors to look beyond the needs of their patients and consider social justice, such as whether the money could be better spent on somebody else.

Many doctors are horrified by this notion; they'll tell you that a doctor's job is to achieve social justice one patient at a time.

Emanuel, however, believes that "communitarianism" should guide decisions on who gets care. He says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those "who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens . . . An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia" (Hastings Center Report, Nov.-Dec. '96).

Translation: Don't give much care to a grandmother with Parkinson's or a child with cerebral palsy.

He explicitly defends discrimination against older patients: "Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years" (Lancet, Jan. 31).

The bills being rushed through Congress will be paid for largely by a $500 billion-plus cut in Medicare over 10 years. Knowing how unpopular the cuts will be, the president's budget director, Peter Orszag, urged Congress this week to delegate its own authority over Medicare to a new, presidentially-appointed bureaucracy that wouldn't be accountable to the public.

Since Medicare was founded in 1965, seniors' lives have been transformed by new medical treatments such as angioplasty, bypass surgery and hip and knee replacements. These innovations allow the elderly to lead active lives. But Emanuel criticizes Americans for being too "enamored with technology" and is determined to reduce access to it.

Dr. David Blumenthal, another key Obama adviser, agrees. He recommends slowing medical innovation to control health spending.

Blumenthal has long advocated government health-spending controls, though he concedes they're "associated with longer waits" and "reduced availability of new and expensive treatments and devices" (New England Journal of Medicine, March 8, 2001). But he calls it "debatable" whether the timely care Americans get is worth the cost. (Ask a cancer patient, and you'll get a different answer. Delay lowers your chances of survival.)

Obama appointed Blumenthal as national coordinator of health-information technology, a job that involves making sure doctors obey electronically deivered guidelines about what care the government deems appropriate and cost effective.

In the April 9 New England Journal of Medicine, Blumenthal predicted that many doctors would resist "embedded clinical decision support" -- a euphemism for computers telling doctors what to do.

Americans need to know what the president's health advisers have in mind for them. Emanuel sees even basic amenities as luxuries and says Americans expect too much: "Hospital rooms in the United States offer more privacy . . . physicians' offices are typically more conveniently located and have parking nearby and more attractive waiting rooms" (JAMA, June 18, 2008).

No one has leveled with the public about these dangerous views. Nor have most people heard about the arm-twisting, Chicago-style tactics being used to force support. In a Nov. 16, 2008, Health Care Watch column, Emanuel explained how business should be done: "Every favor to a constituency should be linked to support for the health-care reform agenda. If the automakers want a bailout, then they and their suppliers have to agree to support and lobby for the administration's health-reform effort."

Do we want a "reform" that empowers people like this to decide for us?

What did Democrats expect?

Once again, the Democrats are offended.

What are they offended about?

They are once again offended by Rush Limbaugh's comments.

In the latest round of political sparring over disruptive healthcare town hall meetings gone awry, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) encouraged its ranks to sign a petition demanding that GOP House Minority Leader John Boehner (Ohio) and his deputy, GOP Whip Eric Cantor (Va.), denounce Limbaugh’s highly charged riff comparing the Democratic Party to Nazis.

Let's see... in the last week, Obama and Co. have accused Republicans of scaring people, lying to people, astroturfing, wearing the wrong clothing to protests and carrying swastikas to town hall meetings. Just for good measure, the President wants Americans to sit down and shut up because they created this problem.

Now there sensibilities are offended because Limbaugh, who is not a Republican, called them Nazis????

Senator Herb Kohl's townhall meeting schedule

Here is a page identifying what our illustrious Senator, Herb Kohl, will be at during the August recess:

For Immediate Release
(202) 224-5653

Update on Senator Kohl’s August 2009 Recess Schedule

As always, Senator Kohl will be traveling throughout Wisconsin during the Senate recess in August. He will visit many communities in all parts of the state to meet with both individuals and groups on the topic of health care reform and his work to reduce health care costs. In addition to focusing on health care, Senator Kohl also plans to host the Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Margaret Hamburg in Madison to discuss food safety; visit the campuses of academic institutions such as Nicolet College, UW Green Bay and Viterbo; and speak to seniors at events in Northern Wisconsin. Once Senator Kohl’s schedules are finalized, his public events are announced through the media.

While Senator Kohl tries to accommodate the many requests he receives, time does not always permit it. That’s why he established his five offices around Wisconsin—located in Madison, Milwaukee, Appleton, Eau Claire and LaCrosse—to provide additional personal contact and assistance. If you are specifically interested in learning more about health care, you can read his latest remarks or view his speech.

Additionally, you can sign up for his health care reform listserv by emailing health_reform@kohl.senate.gov. You may also sign up for Senator Kohl’s general e-newsletter on our home-page at kohl.senate.gov. And, as always, you can send Senator Kohl an e-mail with your thoughts here.

Thank you for visiting Senator Kohl’s website.

Duh, that's right, Herb Kohl doesn't do townhall meetings. As you can see, Senator really cares about you and your healthcare, he did release a video. However, if you want to challenge the Senator face to face... well, you are out of luck. He is too chicken to face you.
